15-yr-old Uttarakhand student to be India's sole representative on North Pole expedition

Lucky Rawat, a 15-year-old student from Uttarakhand, has been selected as India's sole representative to a 10-day expedition to the North Pole. The participants from 22 countries departed from Russia for the North Pole and will return after reaching 90° North latitude. The participants had to clear a three-stage competition after which one student was selected from each country.
