150-million-year-old dinosaur egg nest discovered in Portugal
Scientists have discovered a 150-million-year-old dinosaur egg nest on cliffs near Santa Cruz Beach in Portugal. The nest has about ten eggs preserved in sandstone where they were laid. Each egg is about 5 centimetres wide and may belong to a small carnivorous dinosaur. Researchers are using CT scans to see if dinosaur embryos are still inside the eggs.
