1,500 people attend monkey's funeral feast in MP amid surge in COVID-19 cases

The residents of a Madhya Pradesh village hosted a mass feast for around 1,500 people amid rising COVID-19 cases as part of funeral rituals of a monkey. Visuals of the feast showed several people seated in rows under a massive pandal. Police have registered a case for violation of COVID-19 protocols and arrested two people.
