15,000-tonne uranium ore deposits found in Rajasthan, mining preparations started: Govt

Minister of State for Earth Sciences Jitendra Singh told the Lok Sabha that more than 15,000 tonnes of uranium ore deposits have been found in Sikar and Udaipur districts of Rajasthan. He informed that the Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) has initiated necessary action required for approval of mining of the ore.
