The 152-year-old Karimi Library in Mumbai has been undertaking a drive to restore and digitise rare books and newspapers. Around 4,500 books at the library and another 30,000 at the Urdu Research Centre are being restored and digitised. The books also include over 32 sacred Hindu texts, including Mahabharat, Ramayan, Bhagvad Gita, and Shiv Puran, printed between 1867 and 1896.
