15,000 students set record for 1.46 crore Surya Namaskars

Around 15,000 students at institutes run by Nashik Shikshan Prasarak Mandal in Maharashtra have created a record by achieving the target of completing 1,45,95,786 Surya Namaskars within a year. The record was registered by the World Amazing Records and Wonder Book of Records at the 'Surya Namaskar-Ek Avishkar' event. The students started performing the Surya Namaskar on February 3, 2017.
