15-year-old boy drowns in stream in Thane; doctors declare him dead

A 15-year-old boy drowned in a stream in Thane's Diva on Wednesday, police said. He was taken to a hospital, however, doctors declared him dead before admission. An official said that the deceased boy went to the stream with his two friends. "The two other boys knew swimming but [he] was unable to swim...and, hence, he drowned," the official added.
