16 killed in suspected arson at Kenyan girls' school, 8 arrested

At least 16 students died in a deadly fire at a Kenyan girls' boarding school on Thursday, in a suspected arson attack. Eight girls were arrested as "persons of interest in connection with the planning and execution" of the fire, authorities said. The school also failed to observe safety rules, with overcrowded dormitories and a locked ​emergency exit, they added.
