16 Maoists including 6 with ₹39-lakh bounty surrender in Jharkhand

Sixteen Maoists, including six carrying a combined bounty of ₹39 lakh, surrendered before the Jharkhand police on Tuesday. Among those who surrendered, Santosh Mahto, who is wanted in 128 cases, including an IED blast case, was carrying a bounty of ₹15 lakh. The Maoists also surrendered six INSAS, two AK-47 rifles, 38 magazines, and 1,562 cartridges, officials said.
