16 TMC MPs meet WB CM Suvendu in Delhi amid speculations of split in party

Amid speculation of a split in the TMC, 14 of its 29 Lok Sabha MPs met with West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari in Delhi on Monday, reports said. This comes hours after the TMC's longest-serving member in the Rajya Sabha, Sukhendu Sekhar Roy, resigned from the party and his post. Roy mentioned "rampant corruption" in TMC in his resignation letter.
