16-year-old girl builds 20 gardens for bees, autistic children
Gunisha Kaur, a 16-year-old girl from Ludhiana, launched Buzzing Blooms to create inclusive pollinator gardens. She was inspired by watching her autistic brother find comfort in nature. Since then, she has established over 20 gardens, recording a 155% increase in pollinator species richness. Her initiative has engaged more than 4,000 students, including over 250 neurodivergent individuals.
