160 Russian generals, colonels killed in war in Ukraine: Report

Russia has lost more than 1,500 military officers – including nearly 160 generals and colonels – since the country invaded Ukraine in February this year, according to an open-source tally. The most recent official figure of military losses revealed by Russia stands at 5,397, which is significantly lower than Western estimates.
