16-yr-old boy dies by suicide in Hyd college, was allegedly tortured

A 16-year-old intermediate first-year student of Sri Chaitanya Junior College in Hyderabad's Narsingi died by suicide inside the campus on Tuesday night. Following the boy's death, videos purportedly showing him being assaulted by the junior college authorities have surfaced online. The deceased's parents, relatives and student organisations staged protests by blocking the road near the college.
