16-yr-old missing girl's body recovered from sugarcane field in Assam

The body of a 16-year-old girl, who went missing on September 13, was recovered from a sugarcane field in Assam's Karbi Anglong district on Friday. "A local youth found a pit in the...field when he went to cut...grass there. When we started digging...we recovered a dead body," police said. The deceased's father is suspected to be accused in the case.
