16-yr-old US girl finishes 5-km race, gets disqualified for wearing hijab

A 16-year-old high school girl from US' Ohio was disqualified from a 5-km race for wearing a hijab. Noor Alexandria Abukaram had finished the race in her personal best time of 22 minutes and 22 seconds but her timing was not listed. The officials informed her teammates that she had been disqualified because of her hijab.
