17 cases filed over sexual harassment allegations in Malayalam film industry so far

A total of 17 cases have been registered in connection with sexual harassment allegations in the Malayalam film industry, leading to the dissolution of Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA). Prominent actor Mohanlal stepped down as president of the panel. The 235-page report notes that the Malayalam film industry is controlled by 10-15 male producers, directors and actors.
