17,000 people march in Berlin to protest against coronavirus restrictions

A gathering of nearly 17,000 people marched in Berlin on Saturday to protest against measures imposed in Germany to curb the coronavirus pandemic, saying that the measures violated people's rights and freedoms. "Our demand is to return to democracy. The mask that enslaves us must go," a protestor said. The protests followed a rallying call from entrepreneur Michael Ballweg.
