170-km-long Pune Ring Road project to begin after monsoon

The 170-kilometre-long Pune Ring Road project is set to begin after the monsoon, Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) said. The Ring Road will connect the six national roads that pass through the Pune Metropolitan Region. The road is expected to improve transit and reduce pollution. Tenders have been floated for the first 32-kilometre section.
