17th-century Shaikpet Sarai to be restored in Hyderabad

Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has decided to restore Shaikpet Sarai, built by Abdullah Qutb Shah in the 17th century. It is spread over 3 acres of land and has over 28 rooms, stables for animals, a mosque and a tomb. It is the latest monument to be added to the list of heritage structures being restored by the government.
