17-yr-old tiger suffering from cancer passes away at Lucknow zoo

A 17-year-old male tiger, Kishan, died of cancer at the Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden in Lucknow on Friday. Kishan was suffering from hemangiosarcoma, a variety of cancer, which caused him to lose his power to hunt wild animals and turned him into a man-eater. The zoo authority claimed that he had stopped eating food in his last days.
