18 months DA arrears will be available, may be announced in budget

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the central government had stopped the payment of DA of central employees and DR of pensioners for 18 months from January 2020 to June 2021. The government has received a proposal to release 18 months of DA arrears, which it may announce in the full budget 2024 on July 23.
