18 workers killed in blast at firecracker unit in Andhra Pradesh

At least 18 people were killed in an explosion at a firecracker unit in Vetlapalem village in Andhra Pradesh's Kakinada district, State Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha said on Saturday. Reports said around 35 workers were working in the factory when the blast occurred. CM N Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to extend immediate help to victims.
