18-year-old girl dies after taking too many medicines for menstrual cramps in Tamil Nadu

An 18-year-old girl died after consuming too much medication to relieve menstrual pain in Tamil Nadu's Tiruchirappalli, police said. She consumed the medication on August 21, following which she began to vomit. Her parents rushed her to a primary health centre, where she was initially discharged after treatment, but she lost consciousness and died during treatment.
