18-month-old Mumbai girl dies after being hit by a car

An 18-month-old girl reportedly died on Saturday after a car hit her in Mumbai's Santacruz (West) when she was crossing the road with her mother. The girl was admitted to a hospital for head injuries but was declared dead on admission. The driver was arrested for allegedly causing death due to negligence and sent to judicial custody.
