An 18-year-old girl named Daisy Blakemore-Creedon has become a UK Councillor by being elected to Peterborough City Council. "I'm the youngest Labour Councillor in the country now," she said. This comes days before her A Level exam (school-leaving exam). Daisy, who joined Labour Party at the age of 14, received 940 votes to defeat sitting Tory Councillor Andy Coles.
