18-year-old Praveen wins silver, becomes youngest Indian to win a medal at Paralympics

India's 18-year-old high jumper Praveen Kumar bagged a silver medal in the men's T64 final with an Asian record 2.07-metre jump at Tokyo Paralympics. He became the youngest Indian to win a medal at Paralympics. Before him, 19-year-old shooter Avani Lekhara was the youngest Indian to win a Paralympic medal. India have now won 11 medals at the ongoing Paralympics.
