Assam Police and BSF on Sunday pushed back 19 illegal immigrants to Bangladesh after a joint operation in Nagaon and Karbi Anglong districts. Officials said the action is part of an intensified drive to curb infiltration and protect border security along the India–Bangladesh frontier.
