19-year-old Unnati beats world no. 6 Putri to reach Asiad quarters

Indian shuttler Unnati Hooda defeated world number six Putri Kusuma Wardani to reach the women's singles quarter-finals at the Asian Games 2026. The 19-year-old beat the Indonesian 21-19, 21-13 in the round of 16. Unnati had earlier beaten Malaysia's Wong Ling Ching 21-14, 20-22, 21-19 in the round of 32.
