191 jail inmates test COVID-19 positive in Uttar Pradesh's Basti

As many as 374 jail inmates in Uttar Pradesh's Basti district were tested for COVID-19 through rapid antigen tests, a senior official said on Tuesday. Of these, 191 inmates were found to be positive though they didn't show any symptoms, ADM Ramesh Chandra added. Those who tested positive were shifted to an isolation ward set up in the jail.
