1965 war hero Abdul Hamid's name removed from UP school, restored after protests

The name of 1965 war hero Abdul Hamid was reinstated at the entrance of a government primary school in his native Dhamupur village after protests by his family. His name was replaced with 'PM Shri Composite School' at the main gate. When his family objected, education officials attempted to pacify them by writing his name on a wall.
