1975 Emergency was a mistake, Indira Gandhi came to realise it too: Sonia Gandhi

Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has said imposing Emergency in 1975 was a mistake and that she believes her mother-in-law and then PM Indira Gandhi eventually came to realise it too. "I know that many would laugh at this, but I believe she was never comfortable in the course of Emergency. I think it was sitting heavy on her," Sonia added.
