19-yr-old Kerala boy fixes WhatsApp bug, enters FB Hall of Fame

Facebook has awarded around ₹34,000 to 19-year-old B.Tech student KS Ananthakrishnan in Kerala for fixing a serious bug in its messaging platform WhatsApp, Kerala-based Mathrubhumi reported. Ananthakrishnan has been given a place on Facebook's Hall of Fame and has been mentioned in Facebook's 2019 Thanks List at 80th spot. The bug let people remove files on WhatsApp without user's knowledge.
