1st arrest made in multi-crore procurement scam at Delhi govt hospitals

The Delhi government's Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) arrested Dr VK Ranga, former Head of Office of Central Procurement Agency, in connection with alleged irregularities in the procurement of medicines and medical equipment worth around ₹350 crore for government hospitals. The purchases were allegedly made at inflated prices. The ACB is unfolding the larger conspiracy by examining others' roles.
