1st bowler hit for 6 sixes in 1 over was pacer bowling spin

Windies' cricketing legend Gary Sobers became the first-ever cricketer to smash six sixes in an over in first-class cricket on August 31, 1968. Sobers achieved the feat while playing for Nottinghamshire against Glamorgan's Malcolm Nash in a county match. Nash, who was a left-arm fast bowler, was asked to bowl orthodox left-arm spin on that day by captain Tony Lewis.
