1st result of Jharkhand Assembly polls out, BJP's Koche Munda wins

The first result of the Jharkhand Assembly elections has come out with BJP leader Koche Munda winning from Torpa constituency. Munda defeated Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Sudeep Guria by a margin of 9,630 votes. JMM's Paulus Surin won from Torpa in 2014 elections. As per the latest trends, JMM is leading in 29 seats while BJP leads in 25 seats.
