1st stage of anti-pollution plan enforced amid Delhi's poor air quality

Centre's Commission for Air Quality Management has activated Stage-I of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) across Delhi-NCR. This comes as Delhi's air quality remained in the 'poor' category for the third consecutive day on Tuesday. Notably, Stage 1 of the GRAP focuses on controlling pollution through dust mitigation, proper waste management and strict checks on polluting vehicles.
