1st-ever India-born member of Aus Parliament Varun Ghosh takes oath on Bhagavad Gita

Varun Ghosh on Tuesday became the first India-born member of the Australian Senate to take oath on the Bhagavad Gita. Ghosh, who is a lawyer, will represent Western Australia. The country's Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong welcomed him, saying, "I have often said, when you're the first at something, you've got to make sure you're not the last."
