2.08 cr voters from Maharashtra left out of Aug 24 SIR draft roll

At least 2.08 crore people of Maharashtra's 9.79 crore voters will not be included in the Special Intensive Revision's (SIR) draft electoral rolls to be published on August 24. An official said uncollected forms do not mean permanent deletion and that voters can seek inclusion or correction by September 23. The final electoral roll will be published on October 27.
