2,500 artistes from across India pay tribute to 'Vande Mataram' at Republic Day parade

Ministry of Culture presented a 10-minute special dance performance to mark 150 years of Vande Mataram during the Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path. A total of 2,500 artistes from across India, representing every state and union territory, showcased the country's rich and diverse dance heritage. Actor Anupam Kher gave the introduction while Shankar Mahadevan and others sang the song.
