2.8 tonnes of khowa, sweet mawa seized in Maharashtra ahead of festivals

Maharashtra's FDA seized nearly 2.5 tonnes of khowa and sweet mawa during festival-season checks on dairy products in the Konkan region. Across the state, officials seized 2,813 kg of milk products worth ₹7.38 lakh. At Mira Road, 1,437 kg of khowa and sweet mawa worth ₹3.16 lakh was found stored in unhygienic conditions and declared unfit for sale.
