2 back-to-back gas discoveries made in Bay of Bengal: Report

ONGC has made two significant back-to-back natural gas discoveries in a Mahanadi basin deepwater block in Bay of Bengal, reported PTI. The discoveries were made in an area which was previously classified as 'no-go' because of national security interests. While the first discovery is at 714 metre of water depth, the other find is at water depth of 1,110 metre.
