2 B'luru Police officers suspended for 'fining' couple for walk after 11 pm

Two police officers associated with Sampigehalli police station have been suspended for allegedly taking a fine of ₹1,000 from a couple for "walking after 11 pm", claiming it was against the law. A departmental inquiry has been initiated, Bengaluru Police said. A man, named Karthik Patri, wrote a Twitter thread detailing how he and his wife were questioned.
