2 Capitol Police officers sue ex-Prez Donald Trump over Jan 6 riots

Two US Capitol Police officers have filed a lawsuit against ex-President Donald Trump over January 6 riots. James Blassingame, a 17-year veteran of the force, and Sidney Hemby, an 11-year veteran, said Trump incited the January 6 insurrection and was responsible for the physical and emotional injuries they suffered. They filed the lawsuit on Tuesday seeking damages of $75,000 each.
