2 cousins staying in joint family sold for ₹5.6 cr in IPL auction

Cousins Anmolpreet Singh and Prabhsimran Singh, who stay in a joint family in Punjab's Patiala, were bought by Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab respectively in IPL 2019 auction. Twenty-year-old batsman Anmolpreet, who plays for Punjab in Ranji Trophy, was bought for ₹80 lakh, while 18-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman Prabhsimran fetched ₹4.8 crore. Notably, Prabhsimran started to play cricket because of Anmolpreet.
