2 dead after planes collide midair at US airport

At least two people died after two small planes, Cessna 172S and Lancair 360 MK II, collided midair at the Marana Regional Airport in Arizona, US, on Wednesday. According to the preliminary information from the US National Transportation Safety Board, the Cessna "landed uneventfully" while the Lancair "impacted terrain near runway 3, and a post-impact fire ensued".
