2 dead in multi-vehicle pile-up on Mumbai-Pune Expressway

Ashwini Akshay Haldankar, 30, and Shreya Santosh Autade, 17, died in a multi-vehicle pile-up on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Saturday near Khopoli after a speeding trailer lost control and caused six other vehicles to collide. Deputy Superintendent of Police Vikram Kadam stated that the Swift was crushed and the trailer driver has been booked.
