2 Election Commissioners objected to poll body's steps on SIR 14 times in 10 months: Report

Sukhbir Sandhu and Vivek Joshi, two of the three Election Commissioners, objected 14 times in 10 months, four times on a single day, on record to poll panel's decisions regarding SIR, The Indian Express reported. They reportedly called change in Form 6, which asks new voters to mention if their parents, grandparents are on the roll of last SIR, "unauthorised".
