2 elephant tusks seized during search operation in Odisha, 1 held

The Special Task Force along with forest officials seized two elephant tusks weighing 5.662 kg while conducting a search operation in Odisha's Keonjhar district on Saturday. The accused, Ramakanta Pradhan, who illegally possessed the tusks, was handed over to Divisional Forest Officer, Karanjia, an STF official said. The action was part of a special operation against poachers, launched in 2020.
