2 farmer unions withdraw from farmers' protest after Republic Day violence

Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan and Bhartiya Kisan Union (Bhanu) have withdrawn from the farmers' agitation against the farm laws following the violence that took place on the Republic Day during the tractor rally. "We can't support taking forward the movement with people who want to take it in another direction," Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan's leader VM Singh said.
