2 female inmates at German prison fined over mashed potato fight

Two female inmates at a German prison were fined for throwing mashed potatoes at each other following a disagreement. A court ordered one of the defendants to pay a €2,700 fine (₹2.27 lakh), while the other was asked to pay €1,800 (₹1.51 lakh). If the women fail to pay, they can spend additional 180 or 120 days behind bars, respectively.
